Giorgio Zeno Graf
CV
I work with sculpture, printing, drawing, and installation using reclaimed materials and everyday objects. My research focuses on disused materials and stories, exploring their ecological, historical, and symbolic connections. Through a process that intertwines materiality, gesture, and context, I develop an aesthetic linked to themes such as consumption, presence and absence, and transformation.
I won the First Prize at “Le stanze dell'arte – Premio giovani artisti Genesi creativa” at the M.A.X. Museo di Chiasso (2020) and have exhibited in group exhibitions at Cabaret Voltaire (Zurich), Istituto Svizzero in Rome (2023), Bissone Arte 22 (2022), La Regionale in Ticino (2026), Castelgrande in Bellinzona (2025), and Monte Verità with La Rada (2026).

works with sculpture, printmaking, and installation, using salvaged materials such as jute sacks, wool, industrial remnants, and fragments from everyday use. Their interest focuses on matter no longer in use, exploring its ecological, historical, and metaphorical linkages. They investigate themes such as consumption, urban occupation, and transformation.
Their practice is grounded in a process that eclectically intertwines materiality, gesture, and context, with the aim of fostering new collective narratives through reuse and reinterpretation.
In 2020 has won first prize in Le stanze dell’arte – Premio giovani artisti Genesi creativa at the M.A.X. Museo di Chiasso. They have exhibited in group shows at Cabaret Voltaire (Zürich), Istituto Svizzero (Roma), Bissone Arte 22, Castelgrande in Bellinzona, and Spazio Fervida (Lugano).
