Giorgio Zeno Graf
For Giorgio, the rural landscape is the primary source of inspiration for producing his sculptures. Observing traditional tools and techniques of our valleys, he enhances their properties and works in function of their preservation, in an attempt to at least maintain the memory but without falling back on conservatist ideas. In particular, his love is directed at fundamental issues such as the occupation of urban spaces, reuse of materials and consumption, using jute sacks as a support for works with as little environmental impact as possible and finding alternative functions for products destined for waste.
